Suz and I went to a rather nice restaurant in the clouds last night, thanks to a generous gift from a client. The waiter was careful to:
1. Initially address me first, not Suzy.
2. Ask Suzy what she wanted first (ladies first.)
3. Give me a menu with the prices listed, while my wife's menu was bare. (That way we men-folk can direct and approve the menu choices based on price if we so desire)
But the food was awesome, shredded duck and roasted yams on home-made raviolli in a fancy green sauce of some sort. Then choklit molten lava cake for desert, drowning in a choklit sauce, with little white hearts drawn in white chocolate. Yumm!

where was this?
Columbia Tower Club. This post was actually saved as a draft from 2.15.06, so it really wasn't last night.
And what did you order for the little woman?
Some meat product. Tender steak with potatoes. But all fancy-like. Perhaps the little woman would like to chime in?
Oh and shittake mushroom soup, which she liked.
Yeah, it was bizarre to not know how much my meal was costing. I had this wild mushroom bisque that was like sex in a bowl. God, it was amazing. And steak. That I cut with my fork.
That is hilarious.
